Geoffrey Babbitt is the author of Appendices Pulled from a Study on Light (Spuyten Duyvil 2018).
His poems and essays have appeared in North American Review, Pleiades, Colorado Review, DIAGRAM, Notre Dame Review, TYPO, Tarpaulin Sky, The Collagist, and elsewhere.
Raised in Boise, Idaho, he studied English and philosophy at Connecticut College and earned an MFA and a PhD in creative writing from the University of Utah.
Geoffrey teaches at Hobart & William Smith Colleges, where he serves as Editor of Seneca Review and Seneca Review Books.
He lives in the Finger Lakes region of New York with poet Kathryn Cowles and their three daughters.
